The project has taken off thus far because of help from people across the country, but we could always use some more support. So here's a few ways you can significantly help our cause.

Monetary donations are critical for the success of this project. We are a 501(c)(3) organization so your donation is tax deductible. The project carries a significant bill; the cost of seeds, seedlings and trees, camping and lodging facilities, planting equipment and cycling equipment are just a few of the necessities for which we need to account. Whether you want to give just a few bucks or an organization, social group or company that would like to donate a bit more, any donation is graciously accepted and duly noted. We are also looking for help with regards to planting trees. Please check out your local nursery and plant seeds, saplings or trees and donate them to Planting America. You can also order free seeds from several varieties of tree on our site in an effort to further our reach as far as possible. Either way, we'd like to see you planting and helping us reach our goal of one million trees.

We need sponsorships from your company to make this a success. We have already been donated products from Raleigh Bicycles, Patagonia, Warner Music Group, Adventure Cycling Association, Hewlitt-Packard and Timberland. We are seeking products and funds so please inquire if you are interested.

Any equipment that is new or in good enough shape to withstand the beating of a trip across the country would benefit the cause greatly. If your company makes anything involving biking, camping, or agriculture, we are seeking donations. If anyone has something pertaining to our trip that they do not use or could part with, we would like to hear from you. If you have equipment, visit the contact link and tell us what you’ve got.

Finally, we need volunteers along the trail. We are seeking any room or board, land on which we can plant some trees as well as some volunteers to plant them and local support to acquire more volunteers, land and basic services. Then fill out our volunteer form to let us know how you might be able to help out!
